The bags typically contain Socks, Ramen Noodles, Tuna, Wipes, Bars, Chap-stick, Toothpaste, Deodorant, Hard Candies, Tissues, Travel Size Shampoo, Razors & Shaving Cream with women’s bags also including feminine pads/tampons. Additionally, there is information that will help connect the person receiving the bag with services (i.e. food pantry hours or directions to a day center/shelter) as well as other Cobblestone Project initiatives (i.e. Laundry Love Project).
|There are many ways to help 3 Bags in 2 Days and volunteer opportunities are now posted on the Cobblestone Project Volunteer Hub. Each bag costs approx. $10 to build and donations of these types of items are always needed.|
Please take some time to visit the 3 Bags in 2 Days website to learn more about their mission and ways that you can help.
On behalf of the Cobblestone Project, we welcome them to our mutual mission of connecting needs and resources in our community and beyond. Their actions continue to demonstrate a dedication to the mission of providing our community with tools and resources to recognize the needs, provide ways to bring immediate relief and then connect people with the resources to get the help they need.
We are excited to see how 3 Bags in 2 Days will begin to interact with other initiatives within Cobblestone Project, but more importantly how their actions will bring hope, dignity and a little bit of joy to those we find in need.
Please visit the 3 Bags in 2 Days initiative page or the 3 Bags in 2 Days website to find out how you can help. Look for more stories over the coming weeks of how 3 Bags in 2 Days is being active in our community.
